XP-Pen Artist setup guide
XP-Pen Artist tablets are popular among digital artists and graphic designers for their high-quality drawing and design capabilities. Here's a general setup guide for XP-Pen Artist tablets!
Here is how you can setup the graphics tablet viz XP-Pen Artist.
Connection using 3 in 1 cable
- First end goes to the USBC port of the tablet
- On other side, there are 3 ends
- Red cable is for power - You can use power adaptor or USB port
- HDMI end will go to HDMI port
- Black USB end will go into laptop's usb port
Connection using usb-c cable
This cable is generally not included in the box. You will need to purchase it separately.
- First end will go to the tablet's usb-c end
- Second end will go to the Laptop's usb-c cable
Next steps
- Once the cables are connected, you can power on Tablet.
- Drivers will be installed automatically. If not, you can get them from official website of XP Pen.
- Insert the battery into the stylus/pen if required, and charge it if it's a rechargeable pen.
- Place the stylus/pen into the pen holder if it has one. Many pen holders also have extra nibs for replacement.
- Once the driver is installed and the tablet is connected, you may need to calibrate the tablet to match the screen's display. Follow the calibration instructions in the driver settings.
- Customize the buttons on your stylus/pen and tablet according to your preferences. You can set specific functions (e.g., brush size, eraser) for these buttons through the driver settings.
