where is the water apart from earth

Water has been detected in various forms on several celestial bodies within our solar system. Here are some examples:

  1. Mars: Mars has water ice in its polar ice caps and in the form of permafrost in its subsurface. Liquid water is also believed to exist temporarily on the surface in the form of briny flows known as recurring slope lineae (RSL).

  2. Jupiter's Moon Europa: Europa is believed to have a subsurface ocean beneath its icy crust. This ocean may contain more than twice the amount of water found on Earth.

  3. Saturn's Moon Enceladus: Enceladus is known to have geysers that emit water vapor and icy particles from beneath its surface. These geysers suggest the presence of a subsurface ocean as well.

  4. Saturn's Moon Titan: Titan has lakes, rivers, and seas, but they are composed of liquid hydrocarbons like methane and ethane, rather than water.

  5. Jupiter and Saturn: These gas giants have a significant amount of water vapor in their atmospheres.

  6. Comets: Comets, such as Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, contain water ice in their composition.

  7. Dwarf Planets: Dwarf planets like Pluto and its moon Charon have been found to have water ice on their surfaces.

  8. Kuiper Belt Objects: Some objects in the Kuiper Belt beyond Pluto are suspected to have water ice in their compositions.
